Argument: Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) is a false. We are actually heading for global cooling.
AGW is obviously a myth. Harry Potter is also a myth. Humans seem to like myths. The discussion should be as to whether any given myth is beneficial or not. You seem to be arguing that we should all go for the reality and never the myth. The metareality is that humans often like myth more than reality. This seems to be the case with the AGW myth.
To make my point more specific, let me ask you whether you can discourage people from reading Harry Potter by logically proving that it is a myth?
